Introduction

A kegstand is a drinking activity in which participants stand on their hands over a beer keg and try to drink as much as possible at one time or for as long as possible. Others help support the drinker's legs and put a keg spigot in Stander's mouth because standing on his hands would take up his hands. Kegstands are particularly popular as part of the US student drinking culture.
