Transboundary Conservation(跨界保护)研究综述
Transboundary Conservation 跨界保护 - Improving protection of the Korup–Oban population, through improved law enforcement, transboundary conservation, ecological monitoring, and engagement with adjacent local communities, is essential to secure the long-term survival of Preuss’s red colobus. [1] We then consider the global importance of transboundary conservation under climate change, as many species ranges are projected to move across political borders. [2] Transboundary conservation is one of the main challenges of contemporary international wildlife law, because, although wildlife knows no boundaries, public law is focused on boundaries. [3] Each step of the CDA process was informative and useful for the decision makers, and the expected challenges with transboundary conservation were overcome in both cases. [4] Transboundary conservation has an important, yet often undervalued, role in the international conservation regime. [5] The article deals with the organization of transboundary tourist areas in the Altai, including environmental institutions – transboundary conservation and tourist territories (TCTT). [6] Understanding the sets of co-existing institutional arrangements and the role of different actors for transboundary conservation is not only paramount for migratory species survival but also for studying the transformation of international politics. [7]
Proposed Transboundary Conservation
In this study, we assessed genetic diversity and connectivity of mangrove populations in a proposed transboundary conservation area (TBCA) between Kenya and Tanzania, where human demography exerts increasing pressure on biodiversity and ecosystem services. [1] Remotely sensed data were used to estimate forest cover and analyze conditions of mangroves in the proposed transboundary conservation area (TBCA) between Kenya and Tanzania.
Our findings support the call for increased marine-protected areas and the creation of transboundary conservation areas in the region. [1] 6-9 Here, we examine how human-wildlife impacts interact with climate change and household food insecurity across the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area, the world's largest terrestrial transboundary conservation area, spanning five African nations. [2] In this study, we assessed genetic diversity and connectivity of mangrove populations in a proposed transboundary conservation area (TBCA) between Kenya and Tanzania, where human demography exerts increasing pressure on biodiversity and ecosystem services. [3] The results suggest that the establishment of transboundary conservation areas (TBCAs) and academic and scientific development can provide opportunities to enhance our understanding of the KH region and to collaborate across national boundaries. [4] Remotely sensed data were used to estimate forest cover and analyze conditions of mangroves in the proposed transboundary conservation area (TBCA) between Kenya and Tanzania. [5] Multicriteria Decision Analyses were used along with data on habitat suitability (MAXENT) to prioritize transboundary conservation areas.
Our results agree with previous reports suggesting that whale sharks can travel over long distances and that transboundary conservation measures may be effective for species protection. [1] Our findings call for immediate transboundary conservation measures to sustain the moose population, such as those aimed at preventing wildlife‐vehicle collisions and illegal killings. [2]
