Spray Polyurethane 喷涂聚氨酯 - Results for 81 urine samples collected from coating workers were compared with 28 urine samples of a reference group of 14 spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation workers. [4] In this study, we investigated chemical additives present in new and used spray polyurethane foams (SPFs) and assessed the dermal transfer through direct contact. [5] Small two-component spray polyurethane foam (SPF) application kits are often applied by Do-It-Yourself (DIY) consumers. [6] And, some of them were detected in the air at the plant manufacturing isocyanates and spray polyurethane foam. [7] Through the course, interdisciplinary teams of UC Berkeley students have worked with partner organizations to identify safer alternatives to chemicals of concern, including investigating safer preservatives in personal care products, nonfluorinated durable water-repellant coatings for outerwear, and safer cross-linkers to replace formaldehyde in permanent press textiles and diisocyanates in spray polyurethane foam insulation. [8] Huntsman has agreed to buy Icynene-Lapolla, a maker of spray polyurethane insulation foam, for $350 million. [9] In this work we characterize personal inhalation and dermal exposures to diphenyl methane diisocyanate (MDI) and other species in polymeric MDI (pMDI) formulations during spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation at 14 sites in New England. [10] Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TCPP, also referenced as TCIPP), a flame retardant used in spray polyurethane foam insulation, increases cell toxicity and affects fetal development. [11] The industries were: carpet installation, chemical manufacturing, foam manufacturing, electronic scrap, gymnastics, rigid board installation, nail salons, roofing, and spray polyurethane foam.
