Plane Displacement 平面位移 - The computational prediction of delamination growth initiation is obtained by solving a HTA/6376C composite laminate specimen for geometric non linearity using SC8R continuum shell elements of Abaqus CAE and by plotting the inplane loads versus out of plane displacements. Digital image correlation maps of out-of-plane displacement were employed to compare the specimens with and without the coupling agent. [1] For this purpose, a non-contact optical technique, 3D Digital Image Correlation (3D-DIC), has been employed to measure the out-of-plane displacements experienced at the rear face of the specimens (opposite where the contact is occurring). [2] Withdrawing of staples was the main failure of the stapled connections resulting in the out-of-plane displacement of the sheathing panels, which was clearly observed by the 3D digital image correlation measurement system. The employed NPSDT assumes the nonlinear distribution of in-plane displacements which qualify the requirement of traction free boundary conditions at the top and bottom surfaces. [1] In this theory, inplane displacements vary as an inverse hyperbolic function through the plate thickness, so account for non-linear variation of transverse shear stresses and satisfies traction free boundary conditions on the surfaces of plate without the need of any shear correction factors. [2] In this paper, the out-of-plane and in-plane displacements coupled behavior of the transverse and planar vibration characteristics for piezoceramic disks under fully-clamped and traction-free boundary conditions are investigated theoretically base on the Mindlin's and Kirchhoff's plate models. The simulation results indicate that (1) the out-of-plane displacements of Al alloy side plates are mainly attributed to the bending deformations; (2) enhanced out-of-plane displacements appear in fuel plates adjacent to the outside Al plates, which results from the occurred bending deformations due to the applied constraints of outside Al plates; (3) an intense interaction of fuel foil with the cladding occurs near the foil edge, which appears more heavily in the fuel plates adjacent to the outside Al plates. [1] The simulation results indicate that with the increase of creep rate coefficient 1) the temperature field in the fuel assembly changes slightly; 2) the maximum out-of-plane displacements in the side plates decrease slightly; the maximum out-of-plane displacements in the fuel plates adjacent to the outside Al plates rise distinctly, induced by the enhanced bending deformation contributions; 3) the peak values of the first principal stresses and skeleton normal stresses in the fuel foils are reduced, while the through-thickness creep strains are enlarged; 4) with an increase of fuel creep rate coefficient from 500 × 10−22 mm3/(fission MPa) to 2,000 × 10−22 mm3/(fission·MPa), the maximum Von Mises stress in the fuel cladding decreases by ∼24% on the 308th day.
