Morphodynamic Conditions 形态动力学条件 - This study evaluates the hydrodynamic and morphodynamic conditions of the Magdalena River delta (Colombia) based on river discharges, water levels, and bathymetric information for the period 2006–2012. [1] The objective of this study is to estimate the evolution of hydromorphodynamic conditions on the shoreline of Grand Popo Beach observed from two adjacent video camera setups. [2] This idealized numerical modeling study simulates a large number of hydro-morphodynamic conditions (650) to explore the emergent hydrodynamics determined by different mouth bar volumes and geometries, river discharge, wave heights, and directions and their potential stress on river-mouth development. [3] The composition of benthic species communities in the nearshore zone is closely related to the hydrodynamic and morphodynamic conditions.
