Modified Cyclodextrins 改性环糊精 - This paper describes the guest-host complex formation of anthranilic acid (2-aminobenzoic acid, AA) and different natural and modified cyclodextrins (CDs), using steady state fluorescence. [1] Although native and modified cyclodextrins (CDs) are somewhat effective in environmental applications, there is a continued interest in understanding their distinct role in various applications and effectiveness. [2] The additive effects arise from the additivity of solubilities-the same phenomenon contributes to the good solubilizing properties of many modified cyclodextrins. [3] The protonation state of this drug affects its aqueous solubility, which can be controlled by its inclusion complexes with native or chemically-modified cyclodextrins. [4] In this work we used natural and modified cyclodextrins (β-CD and HP-β-CD) as encapsulating agents to improve citronellal properties. [5] Native and modified cyclodextrins (CDs) are routinely used as a capping agent upon the preparation of gold nanoparticles (AuNP); however, their role in the synthesis remains unresolved. Here, we review the current applications of natural and chemically modified cyclodextrins for the delivery of dietary phytochemicals. [1] The current study provides a novel remote loading approach utilizing chemically modified cyclodextrins to incorporate hydrophobic drugs into liposomes.
