This paper investigates the elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) line contact between a rigid cylindrical punch and a transversely isotropic piezoelectric half-plane. [1] The present paper provides a theoretical study on the axisymmetric contact and adhesive behaviors of a transversely isotropic piezoelectric half-space under a rigid punch, with an emphasis on Hertzian contact and JKR-type adhesion solutions for the conducting punch of power-law profile. [2] A unified micromechanical approach is proposed to evaluate the electro-magneto-mechanical response of coated long fiber composites with transversely isotropic piezoelectric-piezomagnetic behaviour. [3] In this paper, plane strain surface waves, also named generalized Rayleigh surface waves, in a transversely isotropic piezoelectric semiconductor half space are investigated. [4] In the system of the transversely isotropic piezoelectric thin film structure under charged cylinder flat head contact, the 3D analytical solutions for the stresses, displacements, electric displacements and electric potential are derived, which is a further development of the contact mechanics theory.
