Dune Field(沙丘场)研究综述
Dune Field 沙丘场 - The specific aim of the study was to investigate how four adjacent geomorphological systems – a lake, a dune field, a small alluvial fan and a slope system – responded to the same impacts. [1] Other common characteristic is that barchans are organized in dune fields, where barchan-barchan collisions are an important mechanism for their size regulation. [2] Due to their large extent and remoteness, dune fields are ideal for remote sensing techniques. [3] We describe the Inhandui Paleodune Field (IPDF; 15,000 km2) preserved by the first two (up to six) flows of the Parana Volcanic Province. [4] An estimated 5 million hectares of sandsage prairie occurs in discontinuous tracts across eight states in association with dune fields and other sandy habitat. [5] Seven morpho-sedimentary domains were identified: coastal beach ridges, overland flow features, inter-ridge paleo lagoon, bayside beach ridges, marshlands, dune field and tidal wetlands. [6] Prior to this study, dune fields have been largely analyzed manually from aerial and satellite imagery, as automatic detection techniques are often not sufficiently accurate in outlining dunes. [7] Dune fields, restinga forest and herbaceous swamp are the phytophysiognomies with the greatest number of species. [8] The central section of the valley is occupied by the Abaucan River, which runs across the dune field. [9] In this research, we present new and updated properties of the megadune fields, which are largely distributed on the Antarctic plateau. [10] The main anthropogenic disturbances identified were beach cleaning with bulldozer, coastal armoring, removal of dune fields (about 90% between 1942 and 2019), foredune segmentation, installation of resorts on backshore, and artificial rainfall drains towards the beach. [11] We examine the ripple patterns and the motion of these ripples to interpret airflow dynamics around dunes in the dune field at Nili Patera. [12] While iconic objects such as inselbergs, yardangs, wadis or dune fields have attracted the attention of scientists for decades and inspired them to develop numerous formation concepts, it is the actual processes, which are suggested to govern their formation, that are usually quite hard to survey as they happen in nature. [13] Geomorphological features in the coastal area, such as beachrock formations and dune fields, can function as indicators of the coastal landscape evolution through time. [14] The present work aims to quantify and characterize, from a time series of orbital images in the interval between 2005 and 2018, the dune mobility in the Barra do Chui coastal settlement, specifically the variation in the base of the frontal dunes, in order to check erosion and sedimentation at the edge of the resort, as well as the variation of the limit of the reverse of the dune field, where the built-up area of the resort is located. [15] We recommend enhanced monitoring of ecosystem and land use changes coupled with enhanced land use management to reduce the contributions of recreational OHV activity on land degradation and to maintain habitat for key species and ecosystems of interest in the dune field. [16]We prepared a training dataset by extracting Mars Context Camera (CTX) scenes of dune fields from a global CTX mosaic, as identified in the global dune-fields catalog. [17] The main objective of this work is to analyze the use and occupation of the land in the city of Fortaleza, more precisely in the morphological feature of the dune fields in the coastal plain in the Sabiaguaba neighborhood and, as specific objectives: to identify the geoenvironmental aspects of the study area and to point out the impacts environmental impacts caused by the processes of use and occupation. [18] The invasive house mouse was limited to a narrow band above the beach/dune interface, while the native small mammal assemblage dominated in the rest of the dune field. [19] Porosity is a fundamental characteristic of naturally occurring sand-textured soils, commonly referred to as natural sands, found in a wide range of landscapes, from beaches to dune fields. [20] These variations, in turn, are directly associated not only with the presence of iron oxides, which are also found in dune fields and coastal landscapes on Earth, but also with the composition of the core (parent) material forming different types of Martian regolith. [21] In terms of nondimensional parameters, the Froude and Shields numbers that formed the dune fields were similar to those observed in large sandy rivers, but the flow was undoubtedly unsteady and two-dimensional. [22] BP, the estuarine saltmarsh is gradually overrun by northward migrating coastal-dune fields. [23] The mapped area was subdivided in 1000 ha hexagonal Analysis Units (AU) and the following landscape metrics were calculated for each one of them: cover area (CA) of each soil cover class - dune fields (CA-DUNES), water bodies (CA-WATER), dense restinga (CADENSE), scattered restinga (CA-SCATTER), grassland (CA-SANDY), mangroves (CA-MANG), anthropogenic activity (CA-ANTRO) and, secondary vegetation (CA-SECOND); Landscape Shannon Diversity Index (SHDI), and; percentage of native vegetation cover (NV−COV). [24] The second sector is characterized by the great presence of dune fields. [25] The aeolian sedimentary systems of the Canary Islands have certain natural and socio-economic characteristics that make them differentiated environments, both in the context of the dune fields of Spain and Europe. [26] The siliciclastic deposits consist of dune field, sand sheet and wadi deposit facies associations. [27] ABSTRACTThis paper presents an analysis of geodynamic and morphogenesis of the dune field in the Canoa Quebrada region, located in the municipality of Aracati, inserted in the state of Ceara. [28] Through these methodologies, some of the results obtained were the de-characterization of the landscape,The determination of the evolutionary processes of the dune field with the mineral extraction and the outcrop of the water table Positive and negative impacts were listed throughout the checklist and the interaction matrix related to development impacts within the environment. [29] Smith’s 1965 paper presents an excellent example of a reconnaissance piece of scientific work that set the foundation for (1) using aerial photo-interpretation to provide chronological information about dune fields; (2) the use of eolian processes and landforms as climate change indicators; and (3) extraterrestrial or planetary geomorphology.

Coastal Dune Field
The coastal dune fields of central Chile result of the interactions between glacioeustatic sea level changes, climatic changes and the tectonic uplift of the coast during the Quaternary. [1] The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (LMNP) constitutes the largest coastal dune field in South America. [2] This study aimed to evaluate these benefits by exploring the perception of the Mapuche communities and representatives of the local government concerning the ES provided by the coastal dune fields of the Araucania Region of Chile. [3] In this sense, dryer and cold Heinrich events led to the formation of extensive coastal dune fields when the sea level dropped. [4] Many coastal dune fields also host a range of economic activities such as farming, mining, and animal grazing, which can affect their evolution. [5] ABSTRACT The Inskip Peninsula is the link between two major coastal dune fields; Fraser Island (the world’s largest sand island) and the adjacent Cooloola Sand Mass. [6] Outcrop-based facies/microfacies and stratigraphic analysis of this succession allowed the individualization of two facies associations (FA), representative of a shallow carbonate platform system adjacent to a coastal dune field. [7] However, the contemporaneous and neighbouring coastal dune field sedimentary rocks of the Moab Member of the Curtis Formation, characterized by five stacked aeolian sequences, as well as the supratidal deposits of the Summerville Formation, lingered to record allocyclic signals, as the Curtis Sea regressed. [8] Many coastal dune fields have developed on the east coast of Fujian China and now occur as widespread typical coastal aeolian sand landforms on the Liuao Peninsula, Gulei Peninsula and Dongshan Island, but it is difficult to evaluate the dynamic geomorphologic process of sandy coast due to the lack of systematic and accurate chronological data. [9] A global analysis shows that vegetation cover has increased substantially on multiple, geographically dispersed, coastal dune fields on all continents in the period 1984–2017. [10] It has been reported that the formation and stabilization of coastal dune fields in Brazil have a dependence on the climatic changes, Relative Sea Level (RSL) variations, etc. [9] nan [10] nan [11]
Aeolian Dune Field
Geomorphological investigations coupled with sedimentological, petrographical, and SEM analyses allowed to identify, for the first time, a paleo-fixed and inland aeolian dune field in the Gioia Tauro Plain, on the Tyrrhenian side of southern Calabria (southern Italy). [1] Rare crevasse channels and restricted aeolian dune fields occur adjacent to braided channel belts. [2] In the interest of generality, these exercises are based upon flow over canonical dune geometries—which serve as a comparative benchmark—and flow over a section of the White Sands National Monument aeolian dune field in southern New Mexico. [3] Aeolian dune fields are relatively well represented along the cliff coast of Asturias and Cantabria (NW Iberian Peninsula) (Fig. [4] The distribution of cross-set thicknesses is important data for reconstructing ancient aeolian dune fields from the strata they accumulated, but most aeolian strata on Mars must be observed from satellite. [5] Aeolian dune field chronologies provide important information on drought history on the Great Plains. [6]
Sand Dune Field
Here, field results from White Sands Dune Field, New Mexico, USA, are used to test the hypothesis that dune height controls the arrangement, abundance, and geometry of cross-stratification types. [1] The Pleistocene sand sea on the Arctic Coastal Plain (ACP) of northern Alaska is underlain by an ancient sand dune field, a geological feature that affects regional lake characteristics. [2] The Chilean coast is controlled by the tectonics and structure, generating an irregular coastal landscape, with bays, marine terraces, sandy and gravel beaches, sand dune fields and Andean slopes, forming some mega cliffs that are attacked by waves. [3] The study area comprises about 300ha in a sand dune field with patchy shrubs in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. [4] It is endemic to the sand dune field of the arid Brazilian Caatinga, on the west side of the Middle São Francisco River, from Barra to Pilão Arcado (Bahia, Brazil). [5] Protodunes emerge from a flat sand bed at the upwind margin of White Sands Dune Field, and, over several hundred meters, transition into fully developed dunes. [5] nan [6]
Large Dune Field
Its composite structure includes large dune fields hosted in sedimentary basins separated by elevated areas exposing the roots of Precambrian orogens or created by recent intraplate volcanism. [1] While remote sensing methods have long been used for coastal and desert sand dune studies, few methods have been developed for the automated measurement of dune migration in large dune fields. [2] Extensive luminescence and 14C dating of aeolian sand dunes and sheets in the Central Great Plains (CGP) have been biased toward the western part of the region, targeted relatively large dune fields, and produced primarily Holocene (Marine Isotope Stage (MIS) 1) and latest Pleistocene (MIS 2) ages. [3] It is the only coastal desert in the world that includes large dune fields, among the biggest in the world, influenced by fog. [4] Finally, the inter-dunal corridors in large dune fields are also mentioned as a source of dust as previous studies already show. [4] nan [5]
Southern Dune Field
Differences in dune heights between the northern and southern dune field sectors at Hermenegildo Beach do not significantly influence the mean coastal retreat. [1] In contrast, southern dune fields (<45°S) were less mobile, likely as a result of seasonal frost and ground ice suppressing sand availability. [2]
U Dune Field
The Mu Us dune field is one of China’s four major dune fields, which are ecologically vulnerable areas of northwest semiarid land across Shaanxi, Ningxia, and Inner Mongolia, also very sensitive to the global temperature rise and environmental changes. [1] Therefore, this study investigates the grain-size characteristics of surface sediments of a nebkha field with 50%–80% vegetation cover at the southern margin of the Mu Us dune field. [2]
Mobile Dune Field
In particular, we demonstrate that natural and highly mobile dune fields have become over-stabilised and immobile directly as a result of contemporary anthropogenic factors and that the failure to both consider a full systems approach to coastal dune environments and to correctly interpret the remobilisation process leads Delgado-Fernandez et al. [1] ABSTRACT In this paper, the authors use the site of Saruq al-Hadid – a ‘persistent temporary place’ located in the mobile dune fields of the north eastern edge of the Rub’ al-Khali desert – as a lens to focus discussion on the variable nature of temporary sites and mobile adaptations within the archaeology of southeastern Arabia, the relationships between temporary sites and permanent settlements, and the evidence for collective events and gatherings from later prehistory into the Islamic period. [2]

Simulations of the full evolution from an initially flat snow layer to a complex dune field are performed next. [1] Simulations of the full evolution from an initially flat snow layer to a complex dune field are performed next. [2]
Linear Dune Field
The Cassini mission made an unexpected discovery when it found evidence of linear dune fields on Titan’s surface. [1] This sand budget is discussed to distinguish an elongating linear dune from a barchan dune and to explain the complexity of linear dune fields in nature. [2]
Largest Dune Field
One of the largest dune fields in the Przemsza River basin and most floodplain and under-slope flattening dunes were utterly destroyed. [1] It is located in the northeastern state of Maranhão and encompasses the largest dune fields in the country. [1] nan [2]
Active Dune Field
Active aeolian systems are present across the martian surface, with active dune fields commonly found in depressions such as craters and valleys. [1] The Ebro Delta is one of the most significant coastal sedimentary formations in Spain, not only for being the largest and most important delta in the country, but also for presenting several active dune fields on it. [1] nan [2]
Sanlongsha Dune Field
The Sanlongsha dune field, on the northern edge of China's Kumtagh Sand Sea, is a large area with strong winds, causing rapid dune migration and evolution of dune morphology. [1] The Sanlongsha dune field, on the northern edge of China’s Kumtagh Desert, connects to the desert through the Aqik Valley. [1] nan [2]
Eolian Dune Field
On the basis of fourteen detailed sedimentologic logs located in the western side of the basin, a total of nine facies associations are recognized: braided permanent fluvial channel belt, pedogenized floodplain, shallow floodplain lakes, eolian dune field, alkaline lake, saline lake, shallow freshwater lake, and permanent braided gravelly channel belt facies associations. [1] Zone 6 comprises an eolian dune field composed of parabolic dunes with two phases of active sedimentation (45.
