Introduction to Liquid Infiltration

What is/are Liquid Infiltration?

Selective Liquid Infiltration

A broadband fiber-optic parametric amplifier (FOPA) based on near-zero dispersion profile with single zero dispersion wavelength (ZDW) by selective liquid infiltration technique is numerically investigated. ^[1] Here, we have optimized a near-zero ultra flat dispersion profile around the communication wavelength based on selective liquid infiltration technique. ^[2]

To prevent porous Si3N4 ceramics from absorbing moisture in practical application, a dense SiC NWs/α-Si3N4 composite coating was fabricated using the two-step technology involving slurry and liquid infiltration method. ^[1] In this article, we fabricate an MgB2 superconducting magnetic shielding cup with Mg Liquid Infiltration method. ^[2]
