Gentiana Rigescens 龍膽龍膽 - In this study, the content of total secoiridoids (gentiopicroside, swertiamarin, and sweroside) of Gentiana rigescens from 37 different regions in southwest China were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). [1] Gentiana rigescens is an economically important medicinal plant in the subtropical zone in Asia. [2] Based on the species distribution data provided by the National Specimen Information Infrastructure combined with field survey and MaxEnt model, we simulated and verified the suitable distribution area of Gentiana rigescens. [3] Gentiana rigescens is one of the most important traditional Chinese medicines because of its therapeutic effects in protecting the liver and promoting bile discharge, anti‐hypertension, and spasm and pain relief.
