Introduction to Gels Induced

We investigate the organisation of clay nanoplatelets within a hydrogel based on modified ionenes, cationic polyelectrolytes forming physically crosslinked hydrogels induced by hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking.

The inevitable mechanical deformation of these conventional hydrogels induced by excessive water desorption may cause a detached cooling interface with the targeted substrates, leading to undesirable cooling failure.

Herein, we report the supramolecular assembly of a water-soluble silver NC ((NH4)9[Ag9(mba)9], H2mba = 2-mercaptobenzoic acid, abbreviated as Ag9-NCs hereafter) into chiral hydrogels induced by the coordination of secondary metal ions.

The characterization results showed that the microscopic morphology of these aerogels induced by transitions/lanthanides metal ions were obviously different.

The porous CNF aerogels induced the strongest coagulation potential measured as prothrombin factor 1.
