What is/are Field Enhanced?

Field Enhanced - Introduction of the chopped straw in the field enhanced the beneficial effect of manure on soil properties. ^[1] The aim of this study was to examine the influence of B‐scan averaging on choroidal thickness using wide‐field enhanced‐depth imaging optical coherence tomography. ^[2] The results showed that maize straw directly returned to the field was the best way to improve the stability of saline-alkali soil aggregates; maize straw biochar returned to the field was the best way to reduce the alkalinity of saline-alkali soil; maize straw directly returned to the field and decomposed maize straw returned to the field enhanced the activity of soil urease and alkaline phosphatase, while reducing the activity of soil catalase. ^[3] To examine the repeatability of choroidal thickness measurements across a 55° field, in a sample of healthy young adults using wide‐field enhanced‐depth imaging optical coherence tomography. ^[4]

Electric Field Enhanced

The results indicated that an electric field enhanced the leaching of POFTs and promoted the adsorption and precipitation of Mn2+ and NH4+-N. ^[1] Combining the built-in electric field enhanced circular photogalvanic effect with the intrinsic optical anisotropy of MoS2 between in-plane and out-of-plane directions, the device is able to conveniently sense four Stokes parameters of incident light at zero bias without requiring an extra filtering layer and can function in the wavelength range of 650-690 nm with acceptable average errors. ^[2] The research results can be guided for further studying the mechanism of electric field enhanced boiling heat transfer. ^[3] In this paper, using the finite-difference time-domain method, we numerically demonstrate that using the linearly polarized light with a wavelength of 325 nm as the illumination light, an isolated triangular Al–SiO2–Al hybrid nanoplate with optimized geometric parameters can produce a local electric field enhanced by a factor of about 108 at one of its top apexes, and produce two local electric fields enhanced by a factor of about 150 at two transverse dielectric/metal interfaces of one of its longitudinal side edges. ^[4] Meanwhile, the electrophoretic force provided by electric field enhanced the removal efficiency and antifouling capability of the BVIMBF4-CM. ^[5] The electric field enhanced the plant growing, mainly in L. ^[6] Theoretical simulation indicates that the electric field enhanced by surface plasmon, together with plasmonic hot electrons and interfacial hybridization, may play a critical role in N≡N dissociation. ^[7] The observed effect was discussed in terms of electric field enhanced thermionic electrons emission from nanoscale objects. ^[8] Besides, electric field enhanced the reducing capacity of the Co3O4 with the newly formed tetrahedral Co3+ easily reduced at low-temperature conditions. ^[9] All heavy metals content in leached EMR except Ni and Cd were below national standard (GB 15618–2018) by electric field enhanced leaching. ^[10] The simulated results show that the EM wave can propagate along the plasma filament, with the electric field enhanced out of the waveguide and attenuated in the waveguide. ^[11] The tests carried out during this study revealed that pulse electric field enhanced the migration of HeLa cells. ^[12] We introduce a new dimensionless parameter, accounting for the electric field enhanced dissociation that, along with the conduction number, allows us to identify in which regime the pump operates. ^[13]

Magnetic Field Enhanced

An Arrhenius plot of the cobalt volume diffusivity in copper demonstrated that the applied high magnetic field enhanced diffusion by changing the frequency factor rather than the activation energy; this can be attributed to the increased diffusion entropy caused by changing the vacancy concentration, which resulted from the introduction of magnetization under a high magnetic field. ^[1] Then, CrN/AlCrN nanoscale multilayers were deposited on the single crystal silicon, M2 high-speed steel and the 304 stainless steel samples by the magnetic field enhanced multi-arc ion plating technique. ^[2] The electrochemical corrosion tests showed that an applied parallel magnetic field enhanced the electrochemical corrosion, and the Lorentz force was responsible for these magnetic field effects. ^[3] Especially the application of an external magnetic field enhanced the internalization of siRNA, therefore increasing the activation of apoptotic signaling pathways. ^[4] 01 wt% Cu/Cu2O/Ni(OH)2/NF exhibited the best catalytic activity and CH4 selectivity under alternating magnetic field enhanced photocatalysis. ^[5] A magnetic field enhanced the decomposition of a Cu2MnAl Heusler alloy. ^[6] Next, we demonstrate that the application of a magnetic field enhanced the retention of APS-MNP-loaded OT-I CD8+ T cells under flow conditions in vitro. ^[7] Importantly, biocompatible PEGylated MNP-PLGA-PEI NPs under an external magnetic field enhanced transfection efficiency (＞7%) of plasmid DNA encoding GFP in primary hippocampal neurons compared to NPs without external magnetic field mediation. ^[8] It is shown that the 266 nm laser wavelength under the magnetic field enhanced both ionic and neutral lines by up to 11×, while 532 nm laser plasma only showed enhancements in ionic lines with reduction in neutral. ^[9] Overall, aligning RGO@Fe3O4 NPs under magnetic field enhanced the interaction among RGO@Fe3O4 NPs in in-plane direction, so as to promote the formation of thermal conductive networks in the horizontal direction with leading to anisotropic λ. ^[10]

This analysis showed near-field enhanced emission of GaP nanocones at the local level. ^[1] The obtained Schottky contacts showed a rectification ratio ≳ 10 2 at -2V/+2V with a detailed analysis based on the differential approach pointing to field enhanced emission from defective channels as the main leaking mechanisms. ^[2]
