Circumferential Endoscopic - CASE REPORT  We present here the case of a 78-year-old male patient who had a near circumferential endoscopic submucosal dissection for a pT1a mm, L0, V0, R0, G2 esophageal squamous cell cancer. ^[1] Second, the margin of cervical esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was endoscopically identified with iodine staining and marked endoscopically followed by semi-circumferential or circumferential endoscopic full-thickness excision around the lumen of the esophagus. ^[2] Objectives Circumferential endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for large lesions induces severe stricture, requiring subsequent treatment. ^[3] Circumferential endoscopic resection (ER) of the esophageal mucosa could find its place in the treatment of dysplastic Barrett's esophagus or extensive squamous cell neoplasia. ^[4] Methods Between April 2019 and October 2020, patients scheduled for circumferential endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) were prospectively recruited. ^[5] Circumferential endoscopic esophageal resections should be considered when indicated. ^[6] A hemi-circumferential endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) is performed around the gastroesophageal junction (GEJ), which then contracts and tightens during healing. ^[7] Here, we describe efTOR with a semicircumferential endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD-efTOR) as an alternative to APC-efTOR. ^[8] The biopsy specimens were obtained in a four-quadrant fashion at intervals of 2 cm from the circumferential endoscopic Barrett’s epithelium in the distal esophagus. ^[9] Introduction Circumferential endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) allows to treat large esophageal superficial neoplasms, however with a high occurrence of severe esophageal strictures. ^[10]
