What is/are Recycled Gypsum?

Recycled Gypsum - The objective of this paper is to evaluate the geotechnical performance of a clay soil of high plasticity added with recycled brick powder (RBP) and recycled gypsum powder (RGP), both obtained in “waste” condition. ^[1] This paper presents a comprehensive review of the engineering and environmental properties of recycled gypsum stabilized soil, which includes compaction characteristics, consistency, strength, deformation, compression, shear, expansion properties, and durability. ^[2] Plasterboard sheets were produced that were fully recycled with recycled gypsum plaster and recycled lining paper. ^[3] Therefore, this work aims at designing, manufacturing, and testing of both commercial and recycled gypsum specimens reinforced with hemp fabrics, in order to improve impact and flexural resistance of traditional gypsum boards. ^[4] However, the use of recycled gypsum only makes sense if it is environmentally friendly. ^[5] Influence of the heating temperature and fineness on the hydration and mechanical property of recycled gypsum plaster was investigated to find the suitable heating temperature and fineness. ^[6] The focus was placed on four major sectors for which the use of recycled gypsum is technically feasible: plasterboard manufacturing, cement industry, disinfection of sewage sludge, and agriculture. ^[7] Technical feasibility of using recycled gypsum of civil construction as an agricultural input A B S T R A C T The disposal of gypsum waste without observing the necessary precautions can promote the contamination of the air, soil and groundwater. ^[8] The objective of the reported work is to compare recycled gypsum waste to commercial plaster, as well as comparing a mixture of waste with commercial plaster. ^[9] Finally, small walls of the recycled gypsum block and gypsum glue were elaborated to verify the compressive behavior. ^[10] As a dispersed phase was used recycled gypsum from construction waste. ^[11]
