Introduction to Multimodality Fusion Imaging

What is/are Multimodality Fusion?

Multimodality Fusion - A novel method was developed to assess left ventricular (LV) quantitatively infarction through three-dimensional (3D) multimodality fusion based on computed tomography angiography (CTA) and technetium-99m methoxyisobutylisonitrile (99mTc-MIBI) single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) images. ^[1] With the advances in computer technology, interactive multimodality fusion images have been developed. ^[2] The experiments show that our proposed frame selection strategy can reduce more than 90% of the computations without sacrificing environment prediction accuracy, and can be easily extended to the situation of multimodality fusion. ^[3] Therefore, this paper proposes a new model, Representation of Dense Multimodality Fusion Encoder Based on Transformer, for short, RDMMFET, which can learn the related knowledge between vision and language. ^[4] Multimodality fusion based on deep neural networks (DNN) is a significant method for intelligent vehicles. ^[5] The new generation Watchman FLX device (Boston Scientific) was implanted in this technically and anatomically challenging LAA patient using multimodality fusion imaging. ^[6] Experimental results show that the proposed DNNSN with multimodality fusion outperforms the model with single modality for vigilance estimation due to the complementary information between forehead-EOG and EEG. ^[7] She was diagnosed with aorta‐to‐right ventricle fistula and was efficiently treated with retrograde implantation of an Amplatzer Duct Occluder II device using three‐dimensional multimodality fusion imaging. ^[8] Secondly, we have discussed the literature survey of MRI brain tumour segmentation using deep learning methods and its multimodality fusion. ^[9] This study widens the efficient use of machine learning methods, Voxel Residual Network (VRN), with multimodality fusion architecture to learn and analyze the image to classify and predict cognitive power. ^[10] Second, the joint features are formed by combination of each of image and handcrafted features, and a multimodality fusion model is applied to fuse the joint features to yield further improvement. ^[11] New treatment US techniques for the ablation of pancreatic tumours, such as contrast-enhanced US and multimodality fusion imaging, have been recently developed and have elicited a growing interest worldwide. ^[12]
