Here, a self-powered rotation speed sensor for drill pipe based on the triboelectric-electromagnetic hybrid nanogenerators (NG) is proposed in this paper, and the triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) and the electromagnetic generator (EMG) parts of the sensor can be used independently as the rotation speed sensor and generator, which shows high reliability.
