Introduction to Co Lake

What is/are Co Lake?

Co Lake - To investigate the evolution of PAHs in the TP, two sedimentary cores from Yamzho Yumco Lake were collected and dated at high resolution, and the concentrations of 16 PAHs and sediment properties were also analyzed. ^[1] Synthesis of new and existing field, structural, geochemical, isotopic, and geochronologic data in the Adirondack Highlands of the southern Grenville Province indicate a suite of arc plutonic rocks (Piseco Lake granite suite) was intruded into basement rocks from ca. ^[2] Fish concentrations were above the EPA criterion (300 ng/g wet weight, ww) in 24% of fish, but only Walleye (Sander vitreus) from Owasco Lake exceeded New York State Department of Health consumption guidelines (1000 ng/g ww). ^[3] Adult specimens were collected from the intestines of Poecilia catemaconis Miller, 1975, a poeciliid fish endemic to Catemaco Lake, and the white mullet Mugil curema Valenciennes, 1836, from Alvarado Lagoon, Veracruz, Mexico. ^[4] This paper presents an assessment of the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) on a glaciated (Qugaqie) and a non-glaciated (Niyaqu) subbasin of the Nam Co Lake. ^[5] We discuss the presence of a population of Erpobdella ochoterenai in Tecocomulco Lake that bares high genetic divergence from its conspecifics, which may indicate it is an undescribed species. ^[6] The Chalco lakeshore plain is traversed by two of the largest rivers in the region, and the pattern of human settlement recorded here by archeological survey is partly an artifact of alluvial sedimentation, where the most prominent settlements were observed in areas with little or very slow sedimentation. ^[7] We analyzed a sediment core from Piseco Lake, New York (USA), to infer late Holocene environmental conditions and look for evidence of prehistoric human activity in the region. ^[8] Both, geomorphological and remote sensing data indicate the existence of blind faults striking NNE along the east boundary of Duoqing Co lake. ^[9] Filtered water from Xochimilco Lake was used to fill the mesocosms. ^[10] We also characterized genetic variation in a geographically isolated population of the western subspecies in central Mexico (near Texcoco Lake). ^[11] In this work, we propose a mathematical model within a dynamic optimization framework to address management and economic valuation of ecosystem services in a salt lake basin, located in a semiarid region in Argentina (Chasico Lake). ^[12] The degree-day model (DDM) coupled with the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model were used to quantify the water budget of the Nam Co Lake over the period of 2007 to 2013. ^[13] The first author is Florence Dixie, an English noblewoman who writes her travelogue to Patagonia during 1879, while Iris (Ines Echeverria Bello), an equally aristocratic, and Chilean woman, writes her journey made through Ranco lake in 1910. ^[14] The analyses were conducted on the Taro Co and Tangra Yumco lake systems, to detect (palaeo)environmental changes and to assess their lake level changes evolution. ^[15] In the construction of the new Mexico City International Airport in the Texcoco Lake area, various alternatives for runway foundations were evaluated through different test sections that were constructed to identify which of them would yield an adequate transfer of stress and prevent excessive total and differential deformations of the soil deposits. ^[16] We use survey data (n = 373) from the Owasco Lake watershed of central New York to examine water quality perceptions, concerns, and beliefs across year-round lakeshore, seasonal lakeshore, off shore residential, and agricultural landowners. ^[17] This is particularly true for the largest lake in Tibet, Siling Co Lake, which has expanded approximately 45% in area since the 1970s. ^[18]
