The highly influential magazines have very good reviewers. Why are there so few comments?

One of the Seven Arrow Journals of the American Heart Association. The top-marked magazine in the field of cardiovascular research, with reviewers from experts in the field. It contains more articles than circulation research each year, but the proportion of reviews is very low, so the impact factor has been around 7 in recent years. There are few articles made in pure China, and the research requires a combination of basic clinical practice, and the method is often used for model animals. At the same time, research results require strong innovation. The issue of reviewers is straightforward and unambiguous. Being able to publish in this journal has shown the level of research and is a journal with greater influence in the cardiovascular field. Articles charge a page fee, so they can be published quickly! The acceptance ratio should be less than 10%.

The question of the external review expert was met with blood for a while and could not be evaded. The answer is very laborious. It took 3 months to supplement the experiment, and there was no room for delay and the pressure was great. After the revision, the retrial is passed and accepted.

Received notification of reception this morning. Hypertension is a time-sensitive magazine. The longest review period will not exceed 28 days. My article is given 3 months for minor revisions. The time requirements are very strict. Articles older than 3 months must be submitted as the first manuscript. The article is re-evaluated. Our department has submitted a total of 15 articles from 2010 to now, and currently accepts 3 articles, which is close to the acceptance rate of this magazine. We personally contributed 2 articles. The first one was in 2013. After a major overhaul, I asked for revisions and I gave up because I was facing a doctoral degree. Today’s article went smoothly. The comments received were directly revised and the required supplementary experiments were still feasible. It took about 2 months to complete all the required experiments, using data to speak.
