An iconic journal in the computer category, which receives manuscripts from all subdirections of the computer. What impressed me the most was the article that took 15 years to complete (contributed in 1993 and accepted in 2008). The reviewers of this journal are extremely picky about the content and language expression of the manuscript, and the review time given by the editorial board to the reviewers is also extremely loose to ensure the quality of the review. The reviewing speed of the latest editor-in-chief and the editorial board has accelerated after taking office, and the number of manuscripts accepted has increased slightly, but the difficulty of recruiting has not decreased as a result.

About

These comprehensive, readable surveys and tutorial papers give guided tours through the literature and explain topics to those who seek to learn the basics of areas outside their specialties in an accessible way. The carefully planned and presented introductions in Computing Surveys (CSUR) are also an excellent way for researchers and professionals to develop perspectives on, and identify trends in complex technologies. Contributions which bridge existing and emerging technologies (such as machine learning) with a variety of science and engineering domains in a novel and interesting way are also welcomed.
