Chem Soc Rev (Chemical Society Reviews) is the Royal Society of Chemistry's leading reviews journal, publishing high-impact, succinct and reader-friendly articles at the forefront of the chemical sciences. Its predecessors were Quarterly Reviews, Chemical Society (1947–1971) and Royal Institute of Chemistry, Reviews (1968–1971); it maintained its current title since 1971. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2018 impact factor of 40.443, ranking it second out of 172 journals in the category Chemistry, Multidisciplinary.
